Colombian footballer Jaminton Campaz will not continue at Rosario Central and returns to Gremio of Brazil, the club that owns his pass. Although the 'canalla' team had acquired half of his economic rights, an agreement for a new contract could not be reached.
Campaz, who was a key player in winning the Copa de la Liga Profesional title with Rosario Central, had arrived at the Argentine club on loan. His outstanding performance led the institution to invest in purchasing part of his rights, with the expectation of keeping him in their squad.
However, the athlete and Rosario Central's management did not reach an understanding on the terms of a new contractual agreement. This situation caused the player's 'federative link,' meaning his registration rights, to automatically revert to Gremio.
Jaminton Campaz's loan with Rosario Central expired on December 31 of last year. Therefore, the Argentine club does not have the authority to claim his presence, as the original contract had ended, despite the investment made in his economic rights.
Now, Jaminton Campaz will rejoin Gremio. The player will undergo routine medical evaluations and will be available for pre-season training starting this Tuesday, January 16, 2024.
Campaz's departure represents a significant loss for Rosario Central, who loses one of its most influential and decisive players from the last season, especially after his stellar role in winning the championship.
