Rosario Central has announced the launch of a program focused on the growth of youth football in Funes. This initiative aims to expand the club's training system into new areas of the region, with the goal of multiplying opportunities for scouting and developing young footballers. The estimated investment for this project is $900,000, allocated for the construction of fields, changing rooms, and parking areas that will serve as the base for the club's sports and educational activities in the neighboring town.
The announcement was made through an official statement where the club's authorities expressed gratitude to Mayor Roly Santacroce and the Municipality of Funes for their collaboration in this effort. The agreement prioritizes the detection of sports talents both in Funes and surrounding towns, replicating the club's traditional working methodology, which focuses on the comprehensive education of footballers from their first steps.
The program includes the creation of a new space exclusively for youth football, which will welcome boys and girls aged 5 to 12. Within this facility, activities are planned that cover two profiles: one for high competition and another for recreational enjoyment, ensuring that all participants have the opportunity to develop in a suitable and stimulating environment.
