Rosario Central defender Gastón Ávila's truck in crash; club says he was not

Rosario Central defender Gastón Ávila's Ford F-150 Raptor truck was found abandoned after crashing into a public lighting column on the Jorge Newbery avenue, the route connecting Rosario with Funes. The collision happened around 8 a.m. On Monday, with the visibly damaged vehicle traveling approximately 70 meters after impact before stopping. Police found no occupants at the scene upon arrival.

Rosario Central confirmed that Ávila was not driving the vehicle at the time of the accident. The 23-year-old defender approached the scene after the crash occurred. On his Instagram account, Ávila clarified his situation. "At the time of the crash we were resting to go to the dermatologist. I am fine. Thank you for your concern," Ávila wrote. No official information has been released regarding who was driving the truck or the exact causes of the loss of control.

All Boys, who were playing Club Atlético Provincial, stated they are conducting procedures with AFA Futsal and the local club to clarify responsibilities. The complaint was posted on social media on September 21.
